We’re looking for mature, reliable, punctual and honest people to join our production team performing processing tasks, trimming, packing and assembly.

If you have a positive, can-do attitude, are quick to learn, good with manual hands-on tasks and are looking to join a supportive team environment in manufacturing, we could have a role for you on our production team.

You must be committed to a full time work schedule – Day shift and night shift roles are available.

Extrusion Blowmoulding Diesetter/Technician

We’re seeking an experienced setter/technician to join our day shift on a full time basis. You will ideally hold an engineering trade and/or plastics technology certificate and have proven experience in the extrusion blow moulding industry.

We’re seeking people who:

  • Are safety focused individuals with a strong commitment to health & safety
  • Have the ability to work independently without supervision when required
  • Have strong trouble shooting, analytical and problem-solving skills

Trainee Blowmoulding Diesetter/Technician

We’re seeking applications from people who are enthusiastic and looking to start a career in the plastic industry as an extrusion blow moulding die setter.

You will be required to:

  • Assist with die setting, changing jobs and setting up machines
  • Assist with die maintenance
  • Completing the required unit standards training on and off the job

What are we looking for?

  • The ability to demonstrate mechanical skills/understanding.
  • A keen interest in and an aptitude for mechanical areas.
  • Suitable NCEA passes, and/or a pre-trade NZQA qualification
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to read and understand machine manuals and drawings.
  • Good understanding of English, both written & verbal
  • A willingness to keep learning and developing new skills
  • Committed to 2 – 3 years study while you work
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • Serious about achieving a trade qualification and starting a career – willing to sit the required unit standards to complete NZ Trade Certificate in Plastics Processing – Die Setter
